The final price depends on the size of the room, the system required, pipe run, access and installation details. Our standard single-room installations start from £1,100, and we’ll always provide a clear written quote before any work begins.
Do I need a site visit before getting a quote?
Not always. In some cases, photos, room measurements and a few details are enough for us to give an estimate. If the job is more complex, we may recommend a visit so we can quote accurately.
What is an F-Gas certificate and why does it matter?
F-Gas certification is required for engineers working with refrigerant gases. It means your system is handled safely, legally and correctly. CB8 Air & Heat is F-Gas certified.
How long does an air conditioning installation take?
A standard single-room installation usually takes around half a day to one full day. Multi-room systems or more complex installs may take longer, and we’ll always give you a realistic timeframe before booking the work..
How often should I service my air conditioning unit?
For most systems, we recommend a service once a year. Regular servicing helps keep your system efficient, improves reliability and can help catch small issues before they become expensive repairs.
Can air conditioning heat as well as cool?
Yes. Many modern air conditioning systems also work as heat pumps, meaning they can cool in summer and provide efficient heating in colder months.
